Boreham Wood Football Club has today been drawn at Home to Heybridge Swifts in the final qualifying round of this season’s FA Cup sponsored by Budweiser.
After overcoming Barton Rovers in a reply 3-0 following an initial draw, Wood then went to unbeaten Maidstone United who are currently top of the Ryman Premier Division coming away with a well deserved 2-0 victory and a place in the fourth qualifying round draw.
Swifts now stand between Wood and a place in the first round proper. Wood will be hoping to land a place in the first round proper for the 2nd successive season, but will have to be at their very best to over come a Heybridge side that caused one of the shocks of the previous round in knocking out Skrill South highflyers Bromley.
