VACANCY: CONSULTANT PHYSIOTHERAPIST

An exciting opportunity has become available within our medical department at Boreham Wood FCto work as the Consultant Physiotherapist. We are looking to recruit a part-time Physiotherapist to help with the diagnosis and treatment of injured players of the 1st team squad in conjunction with the First Team Therapist and the football management team, to ensure that our medical standards are those befitting a professional Football Club.

Boreham Wood FC are an ambitious, community focused Football Club, who compete in the Vanarama National League. Since our promotion to the National League in 2015, we have steadily become an established National League club, year-on-year competing for play-offs at NonLeague’s top table. During the 2021/22 season, the Club were thrust into the national spotlight, reaching the Emirates FA Cup 5th Round and taking on Everton at Goodison Park, becoming just the tenth Non-League side in FA Cup history to reach the last 16 of the prestigious competition.

Last season, we became just the 3rd Non-League side ever to reach the FA Cup 3rd Round in three consecutive seasons, as well as reaching the play-off semi-finals too, losing to eventual play-off winners Notts County after extra-time.

The role will be based at the Club’s Meadow Park ground, this is an excellent opportunity to work at a vibrant and continuously growing Football Club in the National League.
