Boreham Wood wishes to announce that with things going well throughout the club both on and off the field. We feel that it is important to ensure that the whole squad remains match fit and ready to play, if and when called upon.

With that in mind, it has been decided to get more match time and valuable league experience into two of our PASE graduates in Lee Close and Harvey Scott Morris, by putting them both out on loan initially for a month.

Lee who is an England Schoolboy International, has started four 1st team games this season and featured in another 5 games this term as a playing substitute and will go out to Wingate and Finchley. While Harvey who has appeared numerous times as a playing substitute and is also highly regarded by the Management team and will go out to Potters Bar.

Wood manager Ian Allinson said “Both Lee and Harvey have featured heavily in my 1st team squads all season. They have also both played their part in the clubs good start, In fact Lee’s performances at St Neots in our FA win and in our 0-0 draw at Bath meant he was a little unfortunate to lose his starting place. At present his game time at right back with Ben Nunn playing so well is limited and unless Ben is injured that will not change in the next month”.

“In Harv’s case he has a great future, we love his desire, tenacity and will to win. He will thrive at Potters Bar under Adam Lee and with me now having our skipper Mario Noto returning to full fitness, plus a full squad available for me to choose from, I don’t want to halt Harvey’s Development. He concluded.
