Tough trip in store

13 September 2012

By John Mead

This Saturday Wood travel to the Longmead Stadium, Tonbridge to take on an Angels side that have Wood boss Ian Allinson worried.

“One of the toughest trips we will make this Season” declared the Wood boss.    “We know them from old and with Frannie Collin up front you have a battling side with a different dimension.    Look at their results so far, they have been extremely unlucky not to pick up a win, yet have gone five games unbeaten.”

Wood will be without Luke Garrard, Charlie O’Loughin and Ben Nunn who start a three match suspension, leaving things decidedly short in defence.    One glimmer of hope is that it is hoped Mario Noto will again be available, which would at least provide cover for Garrard. There are plans afoot to bring in another central defender on Loan in time for Saturday’s game.

Tonbridge Angels    v    Boreham Wood, Saturday 15 September 2012, Kick Off: 3pm.

Address:    Longmead Stadium, Darenth Avenue, Tonbridge, Kent. TN10 3JF.
