THANK YOU, FRANKIE!

11 July 2022

Boreham Wood FC can confirm that midfielder Frankie Raymond has departed the LV BET Stadium Meadow Park to join National League South side Dulwich Hamlet.

Frankie leaves Meadow Park after a single season in a Wood shirt, but a without a doubt a memorable one for both the Club and Frankie, having played a pivotal role in the Club’s magical FA Cup run last season that took the Wood all the way to Goodison Park in the fifth round, becoming just the tenth Non-League side in the competition’s history to make the last 16.

Frankie and his teammates go down in Club history as our “Bournemouth Boys” who, against all odds, beat then-table toppers AFC Bournemouth and eventual Championship runners-up in arguably the cup upset of the 2022, setting up a fifth-round tie against Frank Lampard’s Everton at the home of the people’s club.

During his time at Meadow Park, Frankie made 35 appearances for the Wood scoring one goal. We thank Frankie for his efforts and wish him, his wife Jemma and his son Harper the very best of luck in the future.

Thank you, Frankie!
