ARRIVAL AT MEADOW PARK

Ahead of arriving at Meadow Park for any fixture, we advise all spectators to read the most up-to-date guidance and our ‘Meadow Park COVID-19 Spectator Code of Conduct’ to familiarise themselves with our new COVID-19 match day operations and the processes and procedures in place.

  • You have tested positive for COVID-19 or have come into close contact with a positive case in the past 14 days

ENTRY INTO MEADOW PARK

Entry into Meadow Park will be facilitated via 3 screening points, where ticket holders will receive a temperature check and have their ID checked, too. Tickets are non-transferable, so ID checks are in place to ensure the ticket holder is present, this is an essential component of the government’s test and trace system.

All turnstiles will open 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to kick off.

We advise spectators who wish to obtain a seat for the event in the West Stand to arrive to the venue early to ensure a seated position is gained.

MOVEMENT WITHIN THE STADIUM

Please follow any instructions given by stewards or stadium staff, it is their jobs to uphold stadium and spectator safety. Failure to comply with their requests could result in removal from the stadium.

To reduce face-to-face contact, please remain seated or standing in your designated position whenever possible.

If you do need to move around the stadium, please use the brush past method to move past spectators on your row, by putting your back to those you’re passing and facing outwards toward the pitch. There is a strict keep left policy in place whilst navigating  around all areas of the stadium.

FACE COVERINGS

Face coverings are to be worn throughout Meadow Park at all times to help increase spectator safety and mitigate the risk of transmission/infection.

Only exceptions to our strict face mask policy are if an individual is medically exempt, a spectator is eating or drinking, or if a spectator is under the age of 11 years old.

Therefore, when planning to attend Meadow Park please ensure you have a face covering, along with any other provisions such as hand sanitiser.

We understand that football is an emotional game and as such we will not prohibit shouting, chanting or celebrations, however we do ask that you remain cautious and conscientious whenever doing so. Our mandatory face mask policy is in place to mitigate this risk, so please ensure it is worn at all times during the match.

SEATING AND STANDING ALLOCATIONS

Please only sit in the seats marked with a green tick to ensure that you are sat safely apart from other spectators. Please note all seating within Meadow Park will operate on a first come first served basis.

Please follow any instructions given by stewards or stadium staff, as they may advise you to move slightly in order to maintain the necessary social distancing required.

SUPPORT CODE OF CONDUCT

Upon purchasing a ticket to an event at Meadow Park and entering the stadium, the ticket holder acknowledges and accepts the regulations as set out in the ‘Meadow Park COVID-19 Spectator Code of Conduct.’ Failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in refused entry or removal from the Stadium.

REFRESHMENTS & TOILETS

Stadium catering is available within Meadow Park in partnership with our stadium caterers; The Lunch Box. We politely remind all spectators to use these facilities throughout the match and not just at half time to limit queues forming. It is mandatory for all food and drink to be taken back to your seating or standing area before consumption.

When using stadium toilets, please follow signage, practice good hygiene and follow the steward’s instructions. Strict social distancing must be followed in these areas. Please adhere to all toilet capacities. Spectators toilets are located in the North/West and South/West corners of the Stadium.

Please try to avoid all unnecessary touching of surfaces, your face, eyes or mouth whilst within the stadium, especially when using catering and toilet facilities.

OTHER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Sanitising stations are available throughout the stadium and will be placed at all entry and exit points, as well as at all catering and toilet facilities.

If any ball, practice or match ball goes into the crowd, please refrain from throwing the ball directly back onto the pitch. Venue staff or a steward should be passed the ball to be sanitised before it is returned onto the pitch.

Please do not lean over the pitch perimeter fence.

If you begin to feel unwell or experience COVID-19 symptoms whilst within the stadium, please inform a steward or member of stadium staff immediately.

EXIT

When exiting the stadium, it is vitally important that you follow all signage and adhere to the stewards and stadium staff instructions at all times. PA announcements will be in place to ensure the smooth exiting from the stadium.

Please note, to avoid a surge in crowding you might be held briefly after the match to allow for staggered exits. Your patience in this respect will be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for your co-operation in returning safely to Meadow Park. We look forward to welcoming you back.
