MATCH PREVIEW: LINCOLN CITY VS BOREHAM WOOD

23 October 2016

Preview

After a fourth consecutive win on Saturday against North Ferriby United, wood are back in action this coming Tuesday against promotion chasing Lincoln City.

It has been much change at Sincil Bank this summer with the appointment of Danny Cowley as new first team manager.

The imps have certainly started the season in fine form sitting comfortably in the play-off places after a third of the season.

The imps home form has been impressive this term, though they were held to a goalless draw on Saturday by big spending Eastleigh.

At present 8 places and 3 points separate the two sides. A win for Wood would bring them level on points with the imps. Whilst a home win could see them come with 3 points of the leaders.

Dave Stephens is the gaffers only long term absentee, following the injury sustained on the opening day of the season. Morgan Ferrier could well return after missing Saturdays victory.

The gaffer will be wanting his players to continue the momentum they have picked up after 4 wins on the spin.

The club is running an official club minibus to Sincil Bank on Tuesday which is now sold out.
