Boreham Wood will be looking to get back to winning ways this Saturday against a struggling Woking side after Tuesday evenings defeat to Lincoln City.

Woking currently sit just outside the bottom four on goal difference after seventeen games and were defeated by Braintree Town on Tuesday evening 3-2.

Garry Hill certainly made no secret of the fact his playing budget had been slashed in the summer. This allowed the Wood to bring in their influential captain Mark Ricketts and winger Bruno Andrade. Though they have just taken Forest Green Rovers striker Matt Tubbs on loan.

Woking have struggled away from home this season picking up just two points from a possible twenty four. Although Woking do have a good record at Meadow Park. Last year the two teams drew in the League 1-1 courtesy of a late Junior Morias strike  whilst Woking won the FA Trophy fixture thanks to a 90th minute goal from Guiseppe Sole.

Woking will be desperately looking for a win to lift them away from the bottom four, whilst the Wood will look to get themselves back to winning ways and close in on the teams above them.

Dave Stephens is progressing nicely following on from his injury on the opening day of the season and may well be available for selection.

We hope as many supporters will make the effort to come down to Meadow Park to give Luke Garrard and his squad the support they deserve.
