Boreham Wood FC is delighted to announce the loan extension of midfielder Matt Robinson from Woking until the end of the season.

Matt arrived at the Mangata Pay UK Stadium Meadow Park in late September and immediately entered the starting XI. He made his home debut in a 1-0 win against Hartlepool United on October 4th.

Since then, Matt has been a mainstay in Luke Garrard’s side, making a total of 17 appearances to date, with 16 in the league. He has scored twice; his first goal came in our FA Cup defeat to Eastleigh. On Wednesday, he scored his second of the season with a brilliant finish, helping earn a 4-4 draw at home against Eastleigh.

Upon securing Matt’s signature until the end of the season, Wood Manager Luke Garrard said, “Robbo is someone we are very happy with, and when the opportunity came to keep him until the end of the season, it was a no-brainer. He has shown versatility in his play, kicked on, and started to solidify his role in the team. He brings good energy, experience, and has now started to add goals to his game. Let’s hope he can continue his current form and drive us on.”

Great to have you with us, Matt!
