This Saturday we are delighted to announce that Boreham Wood will be hosting our very own Lionesses Day in celebration of the Lionesses reaching the quarter finals of the World Cup, after their penalty shoot-out win over Nigeria.

All women over the age of 16 will have FREE ENTRY to the Mangata Pay UK Stadium Meadow Park to watch the Lionesses before heading out to watch our opening home game against Halifax Town. The day will also include a live performance from the talented singer Annalise Music at 5.15pm, which will include two full sets.

Arsenal will be kicking off their premier league campaign at 12:30pm at home to Nottingham Forest, this game will also be shown live in the Glass House on alternate screens from the World Cup.

It’s set to be a Saturday full of action, so make sure to secure your tickets and get behind the Lionesses as they attempt to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup for the third ever time.
