Boreham Wood FC officially announces the mutual termination of Liam O’Neil’s contract with the club.

Liam, who joined the Wood on August 11th following his departure from Cambridge United, made a total of 11 appearances this season for the team before deciding to retire from professional football.

In his next chapter, Liam is set to transition into a coaching role, where he will bring his wealth of experience to Cambridge United. Specifically, he will take on the position of the Under-18s head coach, returning to a club where he had spent over six years.

The club expresses its gratitude to Liam for his efforts and contributions during his time at Boreham Wood FC. The club extends their best wishes to him for his future coaching endeavors.
