Boreham Wood FCs Community Department are pleased to announce the re-launch of our After School Football Coaching programme, starting Wednesday 21st September.
There will now be three age categories, with re-modelled programme content, to ensure all participants are receiving the correct level of coaching to maximise player progression and understanding. Below is a detailed breakdown of all age categories and session content.
LITTLE LEARNERS
TIME: 4.00pm to 4.30pm
AGE: 3 to 5 years old
PRICE: £4.00 per session or £3.00 per session on a block booking of 10
Following a review of this age group, sessions have been set at a duration of 30 minutes, aimed to maintain higher levels of concentration and performance during sessions.
The coaching will consist of fun and enjoyable sessions working on the basic football skills such as passing, dribbling and shooting. They will all be involved in small sided games at the end of every session to showcase what they have learnt.
JUNIOR TRAINERS
TIME: 4.00pm to 5.00pm
AGE: 6 to 8 years old
PRICE: £5.00 per session or £4.00 per session on a block booking of 10
The Coaching will cover all basic topics, that include Passing, Dribbling, Control, Skill, Shooting and match related drills, with more detailed information and practices. All sessions include Small sided matches to put into practice what they have worked in during the session.
FUTURE STARS
TIME: 4.30pm to 5.30pm
AGE: 9 to 11 years old
PRICE: £5.00 per session or £4.00 per session on a block booking of 10
The Coaching will cover all basic and more advanced topics, that include Passing, Dribbling, Control, Technique, Skill and Shooting, with advanced practices and detailed content.
Training will also include, match related drills to improve player understanding of formation, movement and communication, which are then progressed into small sided games to put into practice what they have worked in during the session.
SPECIAL OFFER – Every block booking which is made before 30th September, will receive a FREE child season ticket, for all Boreham Wood FC Home league fixtures, for the 2016-17 Season.
We are offering our first session on Wednesday 21st September, FREE OF CHARGE to all age categories.
