Boreham Wood FC’s Commercial department are delighted to announce, for the sixth consecutive year. That local accountancy firm Davis Bonley, have again renewed their sponsorship with the club for the 2016/17 season..
With BWFC having secured our place in the National league for next season and with us looking after both Arsenal Ladies and the Arsenal development squad for the next two seasons. Davis Bonley as a prominent North London accountancy company, knew they would get good exposure through our quarterly community newsletters, through our match day programme, through their ground board and on both BT Sport and Sky Sports..
Commercial Executive Mandee Morris said “As a local company it’s important to us that Davis Bonley’s loyalty is rewarded. As such we will do our very best to promote them alongside all our other successful local businesses in the correct way'”..
“Davis Bonley and Nick Godsave in particular have been outstanding in dealing with all our finances and tax returns for many, many years now and it’s no coincidence our rise through the leagues has coincided with us using Davis Bonley.. We are obviously very thankful for their support and friendship over the years and as I’ve already said, we thank them for their loyalty and for the continuation of our longstanding partnership”..
One of the accountancy firms main partners, Nick Godsave said “ We are delighted to be sponsoring Boreham Wood Football Club for another season in the National League. It was a real nail biting end to the season but through the leadership of their Chairman Danny Hunter and their young Manager Luke Garrard, Boreham Wood FC got the job done by winning their last three games to stay in the National League. It must sound strange but trust me as a company, we all got very excited by their relegation battle and survival, as like most people we thought at one stage they’d had it”..
“We have though had a long association with the club from back in its Ryman days and we still have a fantastic relationship with their Chairman, directors and staff. We still enjoy getting down to the games when we can and we have watched first hand how the club has grown and improved.. We now get fantastic exposure from our stadium ground board and I often get our clients contacting me to say they’ve seen our branding on National Television or on BWTV or even on Arsenal Iplayer”..
“As BWFC’s accountant, I would recommend that all local companies who wish to raise their profile locally, get involved with Boreham Wood Football Club. It is a far more cost effective way of advertising your company than the local paper and your money really does help a community club compete on a National level”..
Davis Bonley wish the whole club every success for the 2016/17 season and we will again be down in pre season, having a beer with the ‘Wood Army’, enjoying the footy and getting the most out of our involvement and partnership”
