HERTS SENIOR CUP FINAL RESCHEDULDED

Boreham Wood Football Club have today agreed with both Hitchin Town and Hertfordshire FA, to re-schedule the Hertfordshire Senior Cup Final that was set to be played this Tuesday at Cheshunt Football Club..

The new match date has already been agreed and the game will now take place on Thursday, 5th May 2016..

This will allow us to concentrate on our current league campaign and for Hitchin Town to hopefully cement their play off spot, secure second and home advantage in the play offs and ultimately achieve promotion to the National league South..

Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said “We would like to thank the Herts FA for agreeing to this late date change and we believe it will help both clubs considerably to achieve our league ambitions. If Hitchin Town can achieve promotion and if we can retain our place in the National Premier League, then that can only be good for Hertfordshire football and it will make for a better final on the 5th May”..
