HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH PREVIEW

12 October 2011

This coming Saturday, 15th October 2011 Boreham Wood travel to The Beveree Stadium to take on Hampton & Richmond Borough in The Blue Square Conference South, kick off 3.00pm.

The fixture was originally to be play on Tuesday, 6th December 2011, however with both sides exiting the FA Challenge Cup early, the game was rearranged for the weekend when the FA Challenge Cup Third Qualifying round fixtures were scheduled to be played.

‘Wood’ come into the game in good league form, picking up seven points from the last possible nine, most recently with Saturday’s 3-1 victory against second place Dartford FC.

Hampton come into the fixture sitting bottom of The Conference South, recording just one win, three draws and seven loses from their eleven games so far, conceding twenty two goals and scoring twelve.

Last Saturday, ‘The Beavers’ travelled to Kent to face Tonbridge Angels and unluckily went down to an 89th minute goal from Blue Square Conference South top goal scorer Frannie Collin.

An exciting, open game is in store, with both clubs looking to climb the Blue Square South after less than convincing starts.
