Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce that we have partnered up with faceinthecrowd.store for our ‘Fill the East Stand’ initiative and we need the Wood Army to get involved!

With confirmation last week that the Wood had achieved a 5th placed finished and in doing so qualified for the National League play offs, football will be returning to Meadow Park next month as we host FC Halifax Town in the National League play offs eliminator match. Albeit, unfortunately behind closed doors and without our vocal ‘Wood Army’ in attendance.

This is as pain staking for us as a Club and for our players, management and staff, as we know it is for you our supporters, but of course safety is still the number one priority. In the games leading up to lockdown we were averaging in excess of 1,100 supporters at Meadow Park and the atmosphere you were creating was outstanding, but we need your support now more than ever.

Our hope is to create as much of a presence for the players visually, so they get a sense our how much our town and our community is behind them with a place in the English Football League three wins away, if we can achieve it!

Our plan is to ‘Fill the East Stand’ with 500 fans to show the players, and the world, that our town and our community is right behind the team during the crucial play offs.

For only £25.00 we will add a ‘cardboard cut-out’ of you to the East Stand in plain sight of the BT Sport cameras, who will be in attendance to broadcast the game live, which we will return to you, signed by the squad, as soon as it’s safe to do so. If you want, have some fun, get the whole family involved (and even your family pet!)

Interested? You can purchase your personalised ‘cardboard cut-out’ directly from faceinthecrowd.store by clicking here.

In addition, if you have a BWFC flag that you would like in attendance, please contact Grant Morris on 07703 658 554 or by email grant.bwfc@outlook.com to arrange delivery to the Club and we will ensure the flag is made visible within the Stadium, too.

OUR CLUB. OUR TOWN. OUR COMMUNITY.
