FAREWELL OLD FRIEND

It is with much sadness, that Boreham Wood Football Club wishes to announce the passing of its First Lady in Barbara Vivien Hunter, aged 85.

Babs or Barb as she was more affectionately known, has been associated with the club for well over 60 years. Firstly, as the wife of ex-player and legendary manager Mickey Hunter in the 60’s and 70’s, and then as the mother of our long standing and present chairman Danny Hunter.

She is survived by her four children Debbie, Steven, Danny and Michael, her 14 grandchildren, and her 12 great grandchildren…

Funeral details will be announced next week when confirmed and the family wish to thank everyone for their very kind words and messages of support.
