BOREHAM WOOD SIGN TWO NEW PLAYERS

Boreham Wood Football Club is delighted to announce that two new players have joined its First Team Squad with immediate effect.

David Bryant, a forward, has joined from Braintree Town, as a direct replacement for Ali Chaaban, who has moved on to Chelmsford City, whilst Wes Foderingham, a goalkeeper, has joined on one month’s Loan from Crystal Palace.

DAVID BRYANT

David is a twenty-eight year old forward who joined Thurrock in March 2007 having previously played for Maldon Town and Aveley.    He was the Club’s leading goal scorer for Season 2007/08.    David started last Season at Braintree Town but returned to Thurrock after just a few games.    He made his 100th appearance for Thurrock on 5 December 2009.    He returned to Braintree Town for a second spell in 2010/11, and became a very popular member of their First Team Squad.    He then agreed to transfer to Boreham Wood in February 2011.

 

 

 

WES FODERINGHAM

Wes is a twenty year old highly rated goalkeeper who joined Boreham Wood on one month’s Loan from Crystal Palace in February 2011.    He came through the Academy at Fulham but was released having never made a senior appearance.    He trained with Crystal Palace throughout Pre-Season and impressed.    Wes signed a two year deal with the Club and is now third choice goalkeeper.    He has featured for England at “Under 19” level and joined Bromley on a two month Loan earlier in the 2010/11 Season, and had a very successful spell with them.
