Luca Gunter joined the Wood on loan from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan. The England youth international has represented his country from under 15 to under 20 level and is regarded as one of Spurs’ brightest young prospects.
After progressing through Tottenham’s academy, Gunter won the under 17 and under 18 Premier League Cup double, before helping the club’s under 21’s lift the Premier League 2 title. A loan spell at Wealdstone provided valuable National League experience, and his commanding presence, sharp reflexes and excellent distribution make him an exciting addition to Luke Garrard’s squad.
