DORCHESTER TOWN PREVIEW

18 October 2011

This coming Saturday, 22nd October 2011 Boreham Wood travel to The Avenue Stadium to take on Dorchester Town FC in The Blue Square Conference South, kick off 3.00pm.

‘Wood’ come into the game in good league form, picking up ten points from the last possible twelve, most recently with Saturday’s 1-0 victory against Hampton & Richmond Borough, which took ‘Wood’ up to 16th in the Blue Square South table.

Dorchester Town come into the fixture sitting one place above Boreham Wood in 15th position, recording five wins, no draws and eight loses from their thirteen games so far, conceding twenty three goals and scoring seventeen.

Last Saturday, ‘The Magpies’ travelled to Kent to face fancied Welling United and unluckily went down to the odd goal of five, in a 3-2 defeat.

An exciting, open game is in store, with both clubs looking to climb the Blue Square South after less than convincing starts.
