Dixon signs from Birmingham City!

3 June 2025

Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to confirm that Junior Dixon is here on a permanent. The young, promising striker has agreed to a deal that will keep him at Meadow Park until at least the end of the 2026/27 season, following the conclusion of his contract with Championship outfit Birmingham City.

Since arriving on loan from the Blues last summer, Junior has been ever improving, playing a crucial role in our promotion push back to the National League, netting eight times across the 2024/25 season.

Junior, in truth, wasted no time making his mark with a brilliant brace against Weymouth on his full debut. From there on, he became a key weapon in Luke Garrard’s arsenal, whether in the starting eleven or coming off the bench to lead the line and turn the tide.

Among his standout moments? His winner in the FA Cup against Eastbourne Borough and a clutch equaliser away at Torquay United, dragging us back from two goals down to claim a point at Plainmoor.

Now, with our place in the National League secured and his signature on the dotted line, the stage is set for this rising star to shine even brighter in a Wood shirt. We are delighted to have Junior back on board and we look forward to watching his continued development and impact at Meadow Park.
