The Boreham Wood FC Community Trust, in association with the National League Trust, once again hosted their annual Primary School’s Tournament on Wednesday, which was once again a hugely successful event enjoyed by local primary school children, teachers and parents alike.
The Community team welcomed 13 teams in total and in excess of 80 local school children and teachers across the girls year five/six and boys year five/six tournaments.

Boreham Wood FC Community Trust Lead Coach, Chaz Brown commented, saying: “The children who attended were a credit to their schools, their families and our community, showing impeccable behaviour both on and off the pitch. They should be very proud of themselves.
Both winners will go on to represent the Wood at the Regionals tournaments in a couple of months’ time. A huge well done to them and the best of luck!”
Brown concluded: “Lastly, I would like to thank Ross Weare, the boys from our academy and everyone else at the club for their assistance on the day, helping it make a magnificent day which yet again shows what fantastic people we have at our club.”
