COMMUNITY DAY IS NOW SURVIVAL SATURDAY

1 January 1970

Boreham Wood Football Club will be holding a massive Survival Saturday Community Day at Meadow Park, ahead of our game against Aldershot Town, on Saturday, March 23.

We need the whole of the local community behind us against Aldershot Town, in what will be a crunch game in our bid for National League survival.

We cannot do it without you, and as such, will be holding a community day, which we hope will help us to engage with not just the Wood Army and our season ticket holders, but the wider local community.

Adult friends and family of our season ticket holders will all get a reduced ticket price of £10 payable on the gate, if they come along and join the Wood Army.

All Football League and Premier League season ticket holders in the home end will also get a reduced entry of £10, for Adults and OAPs. Please note; this is strictly in the home end and does not apply to away supporters.

As well as all of this, we will also be heading round to our local schools and handing out complimentary tickets for the children – to encourage local kids and their families. Accompanying Adults and OAPS will again pay just £10, with the community day comp ticket.

The game against Aldershot Town is arguably our biggest this season, with a chance for Luke Garrard and his team to put breathing space between them and the rest of the fighting pack at the bottom of the table.

A crowd behind them at Meadow Park would be a massive boost to our dressing room, who as we know, always react well to a noisy support base.

Chairman Danny Hunter is clearly doing his bit by offering our supporters discounts for our National League survival… Now we just need you to turn out in your numbers, if you care about our survival at this level…

So, bring a friend, bring Mum, bring Dad, bring Grandad and bring your family, enjoy the atmosphere and make some noise, because it’s you and the Wood Army who really could make all the difference.
