BOREHAM WOOD’S PASE ACADEMY IS NOW RECRUITING

The record-breaking BW PASE Academy is once again recruiting, the academy are holding open trials everyday throughout September. 

The PASE academy is famed for its continued success, and 2016/17 was no different as captain Ben Goodliffe was snapped up by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Boreham Wood Football Club now boast a brand new Premier League standard, million pound Desso pitch and a new 5th Generation astro pitch training surface.

The Wood have also welcomed an array of new coaches into the scheme, with professional footballers Paul Benson, Dean Wells and Tom Champion joining fellow new coaches Micky Engwell and Charles Nichol.  

The Wood Academy has become a breeding ground for young players in recent years and continues to produce International talent with three players earning call-ups for England Colleges this campaign and six making their first team debuts.

They also became both the National College Champions of England and Wales and the Conference Leagues ‘Champion of Champions’.

The PASE Academy was set up by the Chairman in 2002 and provides 16-to-18-year-olds of all abilities the chance to join the club’s sports education programme. It is completely free apart from a small training kit cost.

This scheme is arguably the most successful programme of its kind in the UK and is based upon players showing the right attitude, discipline and desire.

Upon joining the scheme, you will also receive a FREE season ticket to all of the Boreham Wood and Arsenal development team matches that are played at Meadow Park.

Boreham Wood offer the most diverse array of academic courses in the country for this type of scheme and have a track record for success in regard to retention and course success rates.
PASE offers a wide range of tailor-made courses that provide its students with an educational programme that marries up to their training programme. These courses include BTEC, CYQ, Construction and A-levels.

Whether you want to study alternative courses such as Art, Business, Drama and ICT, or gain your BTEC in Sports Science, PASE has you covered.

The training programmes work around the student’s academic timetables so that they can achieve the success they need both on-and-off the field.
