AWAY DAYS: ALDERSHOT TOWN

30 October 2018

With the Wood Army fanbase continuing to grow, we want to help to ensure that our supporters find a way to each of our away games.

Luke Garrard and the squad will need as many of the Wood Army at the game against Aldershot Town as possible, to help cheer them on.

As such, we have compiled this easy to follow guide on alternative travel to the match against Aldershot Town, which takes place today at 7.45pm.

Aldershot Railway Station is less than a ten-minute walk away from the Recreation Ground and can be reached directly from London Waterloo, with trains taking around 50 minutes.

Trains from London Waterloo to Aldershot run around every 20 minutes and can be reached from Elstree and Borehamwood station, via London Blackfriars. The trip from Elstree and Borehamwood to London Waterloo, takes around an hour, with the change.

You can also drive to Aldershot and it takes around an hour and 10 minutes to get there, depending on traffic.

There is little parking available at the ground itself. There is a small pay and display car park nearby the stadium, which costs £2 for four hours.

There is also street parking available on the roads off Redan Road, which is near the away entrance. Otherwise, there are a number of Pay & Display car parks located in the town centre.

Your attendance and efforts to get to the game would be hugely appreciated by the Chairman, management and players, as they continue with the new National League campaign.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
