Unbeaten Boreham Wood Football Club take on previous FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic this Saturday at 3pm. Wood are hoping to create yet another FA Cup 1st Round upset to get themselves into the FA Cup 2nd Round Proper.
The away fans to their credit are heading to South Hertfordshire in their numbers, and have already sold over 500 tickets to date, with their ticket office saying their allocation is still selling well.
Wood fans on the other hand are notoriously known for buying their tickets late and this FA Cup tie is proving to be no exception.
With that in mind for those still undecided, the club has decided to leave match tickets on sale until 1pm on Saturday in the hope you’ll do the right thing and head to Meadow Park this Saturday.
Please, please, please help to ensure that home advantage really does come into play here. To do that we will need the drum and drummer, we will need the ‘Wood Army’ in full voice. We will need the Town and wider Community to pack out Meadow Park.
Please get behind Luke Garrard and the players before the game, on their walk out, during the game and if we can still win it in the closing minutes, then we’ll need you to go again and suck that ball into the net via the North Bank.
If you want a Cup upset then turn up and help us to make it happen!
Be Loud, Be proud, B Wood…
