Match preview: Yeovil Town (H)

10 February 2026

Tonight, Luke Garrard’s side will be looking to open February with a victory as we host Yeovil Town in the Enterprise National League, kicking-off at 19:45.

Last season for the Glovers

After bouncing back from the National League South at the first time of asking in the 2023/24 season, Yeovil managed to retain their National League status by finishing in 18th place and four points above the drop zone.

Last season laid the foundations for them to achieve more success this term, currently occupying 14th place.

One to watch

An influential forward presence who has a wealth of experience in this division, Tahvon Campbell will be looking to help steer Yeovil up the table this term. The 28-year-old, formerly of sides including Woking, Rochdale and Forest Green Rovers, arrived in Somerset in the summer from Solihull Moors and has made 24 league appearances.

The Wood

Our trip to Woking on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch so our last outing came with our trip up to Rochdale last week and a 4-1 defeat followed.

Devante Rodney opened the scoring with six minutes on the clock before Emmanuel Dieseruvwe netted a brace to give the Dale a three-goal cushion. Zak Brunt pulled one back from the spot on 71 minutes but Ian Henderson made sure of the victory with his strike 15 minutes from time.

Previous meetings

The reverse meeting with the Glovers came back in October as we prevailed with a comfortable 3-0 victory at Huish Park. Abdul Abdulmalik opened the scoring with 20 minutes on the clock with a stunning strike from the edge of the box before Matt Rush put the Wood in a controlling positon as he doubled the lead seven minutes into additional time. Femi Ilesanmi ensured we headed back to Hertfordshire with three points just after the hour-mark.
