The club are delighted to announce that attacking midfielder Abdul Abdulmalik has been named Enterprise National League Player of the Month for October!
October proved to be an outstanding month for Abdul, who played a pivotal role in the Wood’s impressive run of form. Our talented 22-year-old number 10 was at the heart of everything positive, excelling in key victories and scoring wonderful goals against Yeovil Town and Eastleigh. His creativity, composure, and tireless work rate shone through as he twice earned a place in the Enterprise Team of the Week, underlining his consistency and influence.
Abdul faced tough competition for the award, edging out Josh Hmami (FC Halifax Town), Harry Boyes (Southend United), and Callum Roberts (Scunthorpe United) to claim the accolade. However, his quality and impact made him a standout choice for the panel.
This award is a fitting recognition of Abdul’s hard work, dedication, and the exciting progress he continues to make under Luke Garrard’s guidance. His sharpness, creativity, and energy have made him a firm fan favourite at the Mangata Developments Stadium Meadow Park.
