This Saturday, 5th November 2011 Boreham Wood host Bromley at Meadow Park in the Blue Square Bet South, kick off 3.00pm.

‘Wood’ come into the game off the back of a 100% league record throughout the whole of October, with wins against Welling United, Dartford, Hampton & Richmond, Dorchester and Maidenhead, which have rocketed ‘Wood’ to their highest ever Conference League standing of 9th place.

Bromley currently sit five places behind Boreham Wood in 14th place, having won five, drew three and lost six of their opening 14 league games, scoring twenty three and conceding twenty six in the process.

Last Saturday, Bromley travelled to Kent rivals Dartford in the Fourth and final Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and ran our 2-1 winners, with goals from Araba and Williams. Bromley were then drawn to play League One Leyton Orient away in the First Round Proper, so hopefully ‘Wood’ can steal all three points from a Bromley side who will be looking to perform a giant killing in a fortnights time.

This will be the second time the teams have met already this season, having previously played against each other on the second match day of the league campaign. Bromley ran out deserved 4-0 winners that Tuesday night; however ‘Wood’ have strengthened and become more organised since then and would like to add to their four game winning streak when the sides meet this Saturday.

Boreham Wood Football Club would like to make all supporters aware that there will be free admission to any child who attends primary school in the Borehamwood or local area. If this interests you then please visit the Community Department at The Club or alternatively call us on 020 8953 5716. All free tickets must be claimed Friday before 5.00pm at the latest.
