Boreham Wood’s Under 18s netted three times without reply against Wycombe Wanderers Set to take home all three points in the Southern Counties Floodlit League.

Cameron Mawer’s young side scored a stunning first half-opener, after dominating the early exchanges.

Kai Wint and Carlos Simao exchanged passes down the left, before Hamza Semakula found space in the middle of the park and thundered a powerful strike into the top right corner, from 20-yards.

The young Wood took their 1-0 lead into the break, but should have been further in-front, following two goal-line clearances from the visiting side.

The lead was eventually doubled and Simao was again at the heart of it, when he swept the ball across the face of goal from the right-wing, and Darnell Kitambo was there to tuck it home.

The win was confirmed with a third goal five minutes from time. Substitute Abdei Sahnoun whipped a superb cross towards the back post and Bailey Stevenson leapt above his marker to head home.
