Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jerome Anderson following his release from Blue Square Bet South neighbours Hayes & Yeading FC.
The 22-year-old pacey wide player, who started his career by graduating through Oxford United’s youth system before signing for Stevenage Borough in 2007, has signed in time to be part of the squad for tomorrows home game against Bromley, and we hope he can help our effort to cement a play-off place in the coming weeks and months.
After Stevenage Jerome had spells with Brackley Town, Maidenhead United, Oxford City, Hitchin Town, before joining Hayes & Yeading in the summer of 2012.
Anderson had previously impressed with Hayes in games against Boreham Wood this season, most notably scoring a stunning early goal in our FA Cup Fourth Qualifying round win at Kingsfield Road.
