Tooting & Mitcham United Reserves 0 – 1 Boreham Wood Reserves
Suburban Reserve Premier Division
Saturday 14th January 2012 – Kick off 3.00pm

Last Saturday, Boreham Wood sent a youthful Reserve side to South London to take on Tooting & Mitcham United in the Suburban Reserve Premier Division.

‘Wood’ went into the fixture looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games after wins against Sutton United and Tonbridge Angels twice, as well as a drew at home to Eastleigh.

‘Wood’ ran out deserved winners after a well worked passing move was finished off with an outstanding goal from Dan Loveday and ‘Wood’ returned to Meadow Park with all 3 points after a 1-0 win.

The win has seen ‘Wood’ continue their climb up the league and, if they are able to win their games in hand over the sides above, they could climb as high as 3rd in the table.
