Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce a groundbreaking commercial partnership that will see our Meadow Park ground, which has been our spiritual home since leaving Eldon Avenue back in 1963, being sponsored for the very first time in our history and named The LV Bet Stadium, Meadow Park.

This commercial partnership comes at a crucial time in the Club’s history as we begin to battle back from the trauma of an 18-month pandemic, with no crowds or income, and as such we are very grateful to LV Bet. The partnership will not only see our home be called the LV Bet Stadium, Meadow Park, but the LV Bet brand will also be predominantly featured around the Stadium, our whole facility and will include our newly refurbished East Stand also being renamed the LV Bet East Stand, too.

LV Bet operate across Europe with a number of commercial partnerships, including a recent tie-in with Championship side West Bromwich Albion, as their official betting partner. Elsewhere, LV Bet have ex-Liverpool & Republic of Ireland midfielder Jason McAteer as their brand ambassador who shares his expert opinion on football with the brand.

LV Bet boasts a sportsbook product with a wide range of pre-event and in-play markets to choose from, as well as having their App available to download.

In addition to LV Bet’s introduction to UK Club partnerships with West Bromwich Albion in August of this year, they had previously partnered with The Vanarama National League for the past two seasons, as well as supporting local grass roots with PFC Victoria, London. Also, in the broader sports world, LV Bet have previously sponsored the German National Ice Hockey Team and Kölner Haie, a team from the Deutsche Eishockey League.

Marcin Jablonski, CMO of LV Bet commented, “This is a unique opportunity and we’re excited to see our name associated with a local community club. Boreham Wood FC have been great to deal with and the plans we have to activate our relationship include plenty of initiatives to support the local community.”

Wood Chairman Danny Hunter had this to say on the groundbreaking commercial deal, “This is a carefully put together two year partnership, that I believe will be very good for all parties and I’m very grateful to LV Bet for their support on this, as it has already allowed me to hire a new Community Coach full time and start planning for a number of schools and community initiatives that will assist local parents and youngsters.”

Commercial Executive Mandee Morris commented, “To get an internationally recognised brand on board is a huge coup for our football club. Post-pandemic has been an extremely difficult time commercially for the club with losing a lot of longstanding partners understandably with their own financial hardships and cutbacks, however this is a very exciting partnership for the club and demonstrates the strides our club has taken over the past two decades to attract a brand like LV Bet to sponsor our Stadium.”
