Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce that the Club has agreed a two-year extension to our teamwear partnership with German sportswear giants PUMA Teamwear.

Wood first teamed up with PUMA Teamwear ahead of the 2019/20 season and we have enjoyed great success on and off the park since wearing the world-renowned PUMA logo. First of all in reaching the semi-finals of the National League play-offs during the 2019/20 season before becoming “history makers” during the 2020/21 season by reaching the 3rd Round of the FA Cup for the first time in the Club’s history when we welcomed Championship side Millwall to Meadow Park.

Wood Chief Executive Charlie Hunter commented, “As a Club we are delighted to extend our partnership with PUMA Teamwear by a further two years. I believe it’s been a very successful partnership to date for both parties with not only the First Team benefiting from the quality PUMA kit and garments but also our loyal supporters and our Academy players, too. As such I’m very much looking forward to working closely with the team at PUMA again for the next two seasons and even beyond…”

Jamie Hall, Business Development Manager at PUMA Teamwear said, “Having worked really close with the Club over the last two seasons we are delighted to extend our relationship with Boreham Wood and look forward to working even closer in the future. We look forward to providing the players, supporters and academy with fantastic PUMA products over the coming seasons.”

Unfortunately the clubs partnership with PUMA had been interrupted somewhat by the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant that the Wood Army have had limited enjoyment from their replica shirts/kits and seeing the team sport the famous PUMA logo in person, especially during the 2020/21 campaign. As such, the Club has quite rightly made the decision to keep the same kit designs for the 2021/22 season as worn during the 2020/21 campaign, as we feel the fans who purchased the kit last campaign need to get their monies worth…

Despite the kit design being the same, there will be certain differences such as our new main sponsors on both home and away kits, as well as new sleeve and back of short sponsors, while the away kit will also have a fabulous change colour… New sponsorships set to be announced tomorrow!

ANNOUNCEMENT SCHEDULE

12pm – Back of short sponsor announcement
1pm – Back of shirt sponsor announcement
2pm – Sleeve sponsor announcement
3pm – Main club sponsorship announcement

The Club is extremely excited to have these new partnerships onboard, so ‘Wood Army’ keep your eyes peeled as we’re sure you’re going to be a big fan of them, too…
