Luke Garrard’s men end their pre-season campaign with a trip to much fancied Billericay Town tomorrow afternoon. 3pm KO.
This fixture will certainly test Luke Garrard’s side as we head into the new season. Billericay are one of the favourites for promotion from the National League South and rightly so with the quality at the disposal of Manager Harry Wheeler.
Ricay have recruited well over the summer bringing in players who add quality to an already very talented squad. Arrivals of the likes of Ben Nunn, Jordan Parkes and most recently Matt Rhead from Lincoln City certainly show the intent from Owner Glenn Tamplin.
Ricay have tasted defeat just once in pre-season going down 2-3 to a very strong Southend United side.
Wood meanwhile are unbeaten in 5 games and will want that to continue ahead of the long trip down to Torquay next weekend.
