Boreham Wood are delighted to announce the loan signing until the end of the season of Loick Pires from Woking FC.
Manager Ian Allinson said “I would like to thank Woking for allowing this to happen and the player will add great quality to our talented squad. I know people outside the club are expecting us to fall away in the league but we don’t share their view and this will strengthen us again as we enter a busy final period of league games.
The Chairman has again backed me with the budget and he believes like I do, that we have potentially an exciting end to an already successful campaign and has said let’s just enjoy it and see where it leads us”.
Allinson continued “Loick didn’t do himself justice in his recent spell with us, we’ve addressed that, he is a young powerful forward with incredible ability who has lost a bit of confidence but if he applies himself both in training and in games he’s a match winner and with belief he will score goals for us”.. He concluded.
