Boreham Wood FC can confirm the short-term signing of goalkeeper Joe McDonnell from Eastleigh on an emergency loan.
The loan comes about following an injury sustained by Nathan Ashmore in the 10th minute on Tuesday evening’s play-off eliminator victory over neighbours Barnet.
Joe joins the Wood from National League counterparts Eastleigh, whom he featured 46 times for during the 2022/23 campaign. We extend our upmost thanks to our friends at Eastleigh for their assistance in making this emergency loan possible.
Joe will wear the number 27 shirt during his time in a Wood shirt.
