Boreham Wood FC is delighted to announce the arrival of powerful forward, Jahmari Clarke to the Mangata Pay UK Stadium, Meadow Park, on a youth loan from League One side, Reading FC

The 20-year-old, who hails from Reading’s youth ranks, successfully made his first-team breakthrough in 2021. Clarke boasts an impressive record in the Championship, having made 12 appearances scoring a memorable brace in a 2-1 victory against Birmingham City in November 2021.

Internationally, Clarke has earned five caps with Jamaica Under-20s, where he proved his goal-scoring prowess with three goals.

Last season, the young forward had two loan spells, contributing to National League side Woking with a debut goal and making a mark at League One’s Forest Green Rovers with four appearances and a goal.

Upon his arrival, Luke Garrard commented “Really happy to get Jahmari done, he’s someone we have monitored and has been on our radar since his time in our League. He brings a good experience at a young age and will bolster us in the forward areas. He will go straight into the squad for Saturday and we are excited to have him on board.”

Clarke has already joined up with the squad and will be available for selection for Saturday’s FA Trophy game against Bath City. The forward will wear the number 25.

Welcome to the Mangata Pay UK Stadium, Meadow Park, Jahmari!
