Boreham Wood FC, on behalf of both ourselves and our very good friends up at St Albans City, including our Club Chairmen, Club Directors, management teams, players, ticketing staff and media personnel, wish to thank both club’s season ticket holders for the phenomenal interest that you’ve all shown in purchasing match tickets for our much-anticipated FA Cup 2nd Round Proper tie here at the LV Bet Stadium Meadow Park on December 6th.
Already it’s very clear that this very special FA Cup Hertfordshire derby is in danger of selling out, and as such we would ask supporters of both clubs to be patient, as new ticket parameters get looked at over this weekend. We are working in anticipation of another ticket sale surge on Sunday evening at 6pm, when the remainder of the match tickets will go on general sale to the non-season ticket holders and non-members of both clubs.
Since 9am yesterday morning the match tickets have been snapped up with such speed that it broke BWFC’s online 24-hour ticketing sales record within the first 8 hours, and in truth the ticket sales are only now starting to slow down…
Thank you again Wood Army and Saints fans for your patience, for your passion and for your support, as we know how much it means for you to be here on the night. As such we will work through all your ticket requirements over the weekend to ensure that as many of you as possible can be here on the night, to enjoy FA Cup drama at its finest.
