Tickets for Boreham Wood’s high-profile friendly against a very strong Arsenal XI are now officially on sale and with the new Arsenal gaffer expected to be in the technical area, we anticipate a sell-out.
Everyone at Boreham Wood would of course like to wish our old friend Mr Arsene Wenger a very fond farewell and thank him for the class, care and kindness that he has shown to us over the years.
But, this pre-season fixture now denotes the start of an exciting new era, and we want to congratulate both Arsenal and their supporters on the appointment of Unai Emery and also wish him all the very best for the future, with our long-standing and very loyal partners.
As we understand it, the Arsenal fixture against Boreham Wood, is highly likely to be Emery’s first match as the new manager of the Gunners, making it an absolutely unmissable tie. And, we expect most of the squad who are not participating in the World Cup to be involved.
As such, the high-profile fixture is a must for the diary and will take place on Saturday, July 14 (3pm) at Meadow Park, so make sure that you book your tickets, before it’s too late.
