Boreham Wood Football Club would like to canvas further, the interest of supporters wanting to travel by coach to Carlisle.. We have found that after our initial press release, stating that we would not be running a supporters coach to Carlisle, many supporters have contacted the club and would wish to travel if the price was more affordable.
As such if their is enough interest and deposits are placed by this weekend, we will now look to run one.. The club has also decided to offer a match ticket free for anyone who books two or more coach seat tickets and we will look at every possibility of keeping costs to a minimum to get a coach and you supporters to Carlisle.
We apologise for the late announcement but our normal coach provider, only 
advised us on Monday evening that they had no coaches available for the trip to Cumbria.. However the club are now confident that another reputable coach company can step in and when we have checked on prices, departure times, arrival times we will announce things further.
Our Chairman has also decided to subsidise the costs even further, to get as many supporters there as possible.. And he has asked me to thank you all for your support on Saturday, which played such a big part in getting us a result and you will be huge if we manage to get a result next Tuesday..
Those supporters who are genuinely interested in travelling to Carlisle, must make their interest known to me Grant Morris or by ringing the club asap..
Please note: We would have to leave the club on Tuesday morning at around 11am and we can hopefully return triumphant, straight after the game after a memorable performance, arriving back in Boreham Wood in the early hours of 
Wednesday morning..
Yes we know we are massive underdogs, Yes we know we’re already written off but we are ‘The Wood’ we are more than used to that but if we do pull off the impossible… Then what a night we’ll have, those band of few who travel, can forever say that night at Brunton Park, we believed, we came, we conquered… WE WERE THERE!!..
