Boreham Wood Football Club’s Community Department have completed yet another successful week long football course.
With an average of 35 boys attending daily there were lots of skill based games along with some technical work as well as loads of fun games along the way. Every afternoon was finished with the famous ‘Woodship’ tournament. On the Wednesday the boys had a tour of the Emirates Stadium, seeing everything there is to see behind the scenes and hearing the crowd roar as they walked down the tunnel. They then spent their pocket money buying merchandise from the club store.
It was an extremely successful week, and Community coaches Cameron Mawer and Sam Doolan said “The kids were a real pleasure to coach and work with, they all really enjoyed themselves. It’s great that we can offer these courses to the local community and the numbers are forever growing which shows the 
kids love it and that we are doing something right, we look forward to seeing even more kids at our next two courses over the summer”
