Boreham Wood would like to congratulate goalkeeper Grant Smith on his call up to the England C squad.
The Wood stopper will join the three lions in the next England C training camp at Lilleshall on the 8th-10th October, having been selected by Paul Fairclough.
While, attacking wing-back Kane Smith has been placed on the standby list for the squad.
The pair have been in excellent form so far this season, helping the Wood to five wins and two draws in the National League.
Grant Smith arrived at Meadow Park in the Summer of 2016 from Bognor Regis, the stopper also counts Reading, Fulham and Brighton amongst his former clubs.
Kane Smith joined the Wood on a two-year deal from Hitchin Town in the summer and is known for his pace and powerful delivery, scoring an impressive 11 goals and providing 30 assists from defence in two-years.
