Boreham Wood Football Club would like to remind everyone, that only our second ever home league game against Barnet, will kick off at 3pm on New Years Day here at Meadow Park.
This eagerly awaited Derby Day fixture is NOT ALL TICKET, though it is cheaper for both home and away supporters to pre-purchase their match tickets via our ticketing portal, up until midnight on New Years Eve.
Can all supporters please note; this match is segregated, but their is plenty of home and away parking in the Brook Road car park, adjacent to the away entrances and just a short walk to the home turnstiles.
Ticket sales for this game, have been pretty slow, as they show that Barnet fans have pre purchased 402 tickets, while Boreham Wood fans have only purchased 242 tickets, on top of the 500 season ticket holders that we presently have.
Though pre-match sales are slow, It still means with the pre-sold tickets and our 500 season ticket holders, that we know we’ll be seeing our highest home league gate of the season, while once again welcoming our very good friends from Barnet Football Club.
So we respectfully remind the supporters of both clubs, that you have just three days to pre-purchase your match tickets at the cheaper price.. and remember its only the second ever home league derby encounter between us and Barnet and both clubs will be looking to keep apace with the other play off clubs.
So let’s hope the weather is kind on New Years Day, and we get to witness a memorable Derby Day battle that befits the first day of a New Year.
