The Wood continue their pre-season preparations on Saturday with an away friendly at Hampton & Richmond Borough (3pm).
Luke Garrard’s men will no doubt be feeling confident after putting in a very positive performance against an Arsenal XI last week to begin the pre-season exploits.
New signings Tyrone Marsh, Piero Mingoia and Adam McDonnell all found the net in a pulsating and fiery first half, with Kabongo Tshimanga racking up two assists.
Hampton & Richmond will definitely pose a different kind of threat however. The National League South side finished 15thlast season accumulating 48 points from their 42 league matches.
