A successful Hertfordshire based football club has a requirement for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team. Working in a friendly and supportive environment this is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing business.

You will work alongside the Director of Finance by recording, processing and monitoring the day to day financial transactions of the club. This is very much a generalist role and covers a number of related tasks which are likely to include but not limited to:

  • Purchase Ledger: Check all invoices are authorised post to Sage
  • Produce payment run on a monthly basis
  • Sales Ledger: Raising sales invoices, chasing debts and post to Sage
  • Prepare, review and chase Petty Cash Expenses
  • Weekly and Monthly Wages
  • Match Day Gate Manager
  • Other ad-hoc Financial and Admin duties

Suitable candidates will need to have more than 2 years’ experience as an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant or as a Bookkeeper. You will need to be proficient with Sage 50 accounting software and Sage Payroll. It is essential that you are a strong communicator and that you are extremely organised.

Candidate should also be proficient in use of Microsoft office.

You will be expected to work on home match days as part of your working hours.
