Just nine weeks after our fantastic promotion final victory the feel good factor around the Club and the Town is still going strong.

Our off field preparations for life in the National League begun on 10th May, whilst our on field preparations begin this Saturday with the visit of our good friends and National League South neighbours St Albans City.

It will be the Saints third pre-season fixture in a week after taking on Dagenham and Redbridge and Watford.

Manager James Gray and Assistant Graham Goulds have tinkered with their squad in the close season with a few coming and going. The additions being Lewis Hilliard from St Neots Town, Billy Medlock and Jack Lampe from league rivals Sutton United and Concord Rangers respectively. With the additions I am sure they will feel they can surprise a few in the league this season and push for a play-off spot.

The Wood meanwhile have managed to keep the majority of last season’s promotion winning squad together. Danny Woodards is the first summer signing with a few more expected to follow in the coming days.

Whilst still speaking to several new recruits the management team will be casting their eye over a couple of triallists for the visit of the Saints.

There have been some impressive changes at Meadow Park over the Summer, so come down and see your new National League side in action for the first time this season. Tickets are just £10 Adults £5 Concessions.

Our new look Club Shop will also be open to pre-order your 15/16 replica Shirt. We also have some fantastic new memorabilia so be sure to pay us a visit.

Also for those who have yet to get their Season Tickets for our maiden season in the top flight of non league football, you still have time and can get your application form from the Club Shop.
