The Wood made it five matches unbeaten in the National League on Saturday, when they scored a late equaliser against Barrow.
Barrow had gone ahead with less than 10 minutes remaining through John Rooney, but the Wood battled back to earn a point.
The 93rd minute stunner was netted by Keiran Murtagh and kept the Wood’s unbeaten home record intact.
The Wood currently sit in 12th place and could rise to as high as eighth with a win against Sutton United, due to their game in hand.
Managed by 52-year-old Paul Doswell, Sutton are seventh in the National League after a positive start to the season.
They have won their last three matches in all competitions, including a 2-1 away win over Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday.
One to Watch – Ross Lafayette
The 32-year-old striker has started the season in fine form, with four goals in 10 appearances.
Signed from Dover in 2017, Lafayette enjoyed a loan spell with Maidstone during last season, but has since returned to play a key role for Sutton.
The forward came to prominence with Welling in 2013, when he scored 19 goals in their Conference South winning campaign.
He had a similarly impressive campaign the following year, which earned him a move to the Football League with Luton Town. He will be one to watch for on Tuesday.

“He has done fantastically ‘Dozz’ and he done brilliantly last year. You see that he has limited his squad in terms of numbers, as opposed to carrying three or four extra bodies inside of the match day squad week in week out.
“Dale Bennett and Charlie Clough, what a signing. Two people who would get into any team in the National League in my opinion.
“You look at the personnel that he has still got there as well, Kenny Davis, Ross Lafayette, Craig Eastmond, he has got unbelievable ability in his dressing room.
“We are going to Sutton with the mindset of getting three points and we know how tough it is, we know how tough this level is and we know that it is relentless.
