Boreham Wood will be playing their first match in the Herts Senior Cup this season, on the back of their FA Cup exit to Coventry.

For large parts of the cup tie, the Wood were the better side, and will feel that the 3-0 scoreline, was harsh.

Despite the loss, the Wood enter the fixture in good form, having lost just once since the 1-0 defeat to Ebbsfleet in September.

“Obviously it is a local derby, and we have played them before when we went up to their place and we were successful.

“I can imagine that it is going to be a tight affair between both of us. I don’t know where he see’s his plans for the game tomorrow, but we want to try and continue the momentum of winning.

“So, we are going to set up with a team that boasts many first teamers and some very talented youngsters that we have within the academy.”
