Form Guide

Bromley overturned a two-goal lead, to win 3-2, in the Wood’s last league match, away from home.

A brace from Morgan Ferrier had broken the deadlock, but a battling Bromley side recovered.

Garrard’s side had beaten Chester 4-2 in the match prior, thanks to goals from Michael Folivi, Bruno Andrade, Ferrier and Ricky Shakes.

Bromley’s goalless draw with Barrow in midweek means that the Wood’s future is in their own hands.

Victory over Guiseley would see them confirm a historic place in the National League play-offs.

Managed by 33-year-old Sean St Ledger, Guiseley’s National League fate has already been sealed, with them relegated from the division.

10-man Guiseley defeated Torquay United 4-3 away from home in the last round of fixtures.

From the Dugout – Luke Garrard

“It has been a very long season, that started back on June 28th, when we got everyone back in for pre-season and we are now finally onto the last leg.

“I am looking forward to it, I think that if you had said when we regrouped on the 28th June, that we would be one game away from being in play-offs, the boys would have snapped your hands off.

“We have spoken about Guiseley and the manner in which they are going to go about their business.

“You see what they did midweek against Torquay, they have still got the appetite and the habits to go and win football matches.

“They have got (John) Rooney in the hole, who I really like; (Kayode) Odejayi, who is a powerful striker; (Will) Hatfield in central midfield, who creates; so yeah, they have got personnel in their ranks who can cause teams problems.

“My mentality – and my management team echo the words that I am going to say now – is that we aren’t going to have a shock here.

“We aren’t going to have a shock here, we are going to make sure that our job is done. We will go about our business and we can get ourselves a play-off spot, which would be fantastic.”
